Slitting Machine Operating Procedures

1. Start the machine
1. Turn on the electrical isolation switch (set in front of the electric control cabinet), press the EMERCENCY STOP RESET and READY TO RUN buttons, turn the key to MACHINE to RUN (on the main console) to check whether the voltage (380V) and current are correct and stable.
2. Turn on the hydraulic system power switch (set on the main hydraulic drive frame), check whether the oil level and pressure gauge display of the main hydraulic drive system are correct and stable.
3. Open the pneumatic shut-off valve (set on the air inlet pipe under the pneumatic control cabinet) to check whether the air pressure is correct (not less than 6.0bar) and stable.
2. Set the control
1. Set the slitting menu according to the film type, thickness, length, width, etc. arranged in the slitting plan.
2. Pick up the corresponding BOPP film file from PDF.
3. Set the winding length and width of the corresponding specification film.
4. Select the corresponding winding station, adjust the roller arm and roller, and install the paper core of the corresponding specification.
3. Loading, film insertion and film connection
1. Loading: According to the requirements of the slitting plan, the crane operation procedures, and the actual situation, the corresponding mother roll is hoisted on the aging rack, and the direction is selected according to the inside and outside of the corona surface. Place it on the slitting machine unwinding rack, and use the control button to clamp the steel core, and leave the steel core support arm and the crane.
2. Film insertion: When there is no film on the slitting machine, film insertion must be performed. Use the slitting machine film insertion device and function keys to tie one end of the original film to the film insertion chain eye, and start the film insertion button to make the film evenly distributed on each roller along the slitting process.
3. Film splicing: When there is film on the slitting machine and the roll joint is changed, the vacuum film splicing table is used. First, the film splicing table is started to the working position, the film on the first traction roller of the slitting machine is manually flattened and the upper vacuum pump is started to absorb the film so that the film is flatly adsorbed on the film splicing table, double-sided tape is applied and the excess film under the tape is cut off, the film on the unwinding rack is flattened and the lower vacuum pump is started to adsorb the film flatly, the paper layer on the tape is removed and the adhesive film is flattened. The joint should be neat and wrinkle-free, then the upper and lower vacuum pumps are turned off and the film splicing table is opened to the non-working position.
4. Start-up and operation
1. Change the specifications, put the paper core on the inner and outer winding arms, and notify all personnel to leave the machine when the pressure roller is in the ready state for operation and prepare for operation.
2. Set ANTI-STAIC BARS on the main operating table to AUTO, READY TO RUN, start MACHINE RUN and start the machine.
5. Slitting control
During the slitting operation, carefully monitor and observe the slitting effect, and properly adjust and control the slitting speed, unwinding tension, contact pressure, arc roller, edge material traction roller, guide edge, etc.
6. Rewinding
1. When the inner and outer ends are wound up and the machine stops running, use the film unloading button to place the film on the prepared film unloading trolley, cut the film and stick the film roll with sealing glue.
2. Use the clamp release button to release the clamp, check whether the paper core of each film roll is off the paper core, and if one end is still stuck on the paper core, manually unload the film roll.
3. After ensuring that all the films are off the clamp and placed on the trolley, use the film loading button to raise the rewinding arm, install the corresponding paper core, and neatly attach the film to the paper core for the next slitting.
7. Stopping
1. When the film roll runs to the set length, the equipment stops automatically.
2. During the operation of the equipment, press MACHINE STOP to stop as needed.
3. When a quick stop is required, press the MACHINE STOP key for more than 2 seconds.
4. When an emergency occurs, such as an equipment or man-made accident, press EMERGENCY STOP for emergency stop.
VIII. Precautions
1. Ensure that the voltage, current and hydraulic pressure are correct and stable before starting the machine.
2. Before the equipment is ready for operation, all personnel must be notified to leave the equipment to ensure personal safety before starting the machine.
3. When the slitting machine is running, do not touch the running film roll or roller core with your hands to avoid getting your hands involved and causing personal injury.
4. During operation, do not scratch or cut the roller core with a knife or hard objects.
